The News Movement is partnering with digital-out-of-home network Next-Gen Media to provide fun and accessible news updates to students as the term begins again.

The move will see content broadcast across Next-Gen Media’s college and university accommodation throughout September, October, November and December.

The content will cover news and cultural updates as well as provide a snapshot of the key stories and trends of the day.

It is the first time the News Movement has worked with a DOOH vendor in this way, forming a partnership which will allow the media company to build more robust omni-channel campaigns that allow its clients to help connect with Gen Z audiences across digital and social platforms.

“Gen Zers’ trust in big organisations, both media and government, is fading, and it’s too easy for misinformation to spread online – the recent riots are a poignant reminder of this,” said The News Movement chief commercial officer Lotte Jones.
