A new set of idents for accounting software firm Intuit Quickbooks leans heavy on hustle tropes from both business and sports to mark its sponsorship of Sky Sports Carabao Cup coverage.
Creative agency FCB London has created a set of 12 idents which cover a range of different topics relevant to accounting and football, from performance to adapting to different conditions.
Building on the often used term “the sky’s the limit”, the spots play on shared linguistic clichés that are applied both to the football field and battling it out with Excel.

Another of the idents toys with the idea of “agility” and the ability to weather different conditions, while a further ident focuses on being quick with feet as well as quick with numbers.
The new series of idents comes after a set of films were released this summer which also supported QuickBook’s sponsorship of England cricket games screened on Sky Sports.
It comes as part of the brand’s mission to target accountants and small business owners, many of whom are football fans.
