Creative agency M&C Saatchi has appointed a new UK group chief executive, promoting Jo Bacon from her previous role as M&C Saatchi London chief executive.
Bacon’s rise to UK group CEO comes only months after being named CEO of M&C Saatchi London where she succeeded Camilla Kemp, who left in 2023.
The move has set in motion a range of other positional changes, which will include incumbent UK group CEO Marcus Peffers replacing UK group chair Richard Thompson, who is set to take on an expanded role as global chair of the network’s “Passions” specialisms (M&C Saatchi Sport & Entertainment, PR and talent).

“We are embarking on an exciting new chapter for M&C Saatchi Group. These leadership changes are a testament to our commitment to growth, innovation, and creativity,” M&C Saatchi Group CEO, Zaid Al-Qassab said.
“I am delighted to work alongside such a talented team and am confident that the team will drive our vision forward, creating even greater value for our clients, people and shareholders.”
This latest re-shuffle comes shortly after the agency group’s announcement of a new chief financial officer, having appointed Simon Fuller, and demoted Bruce Marson in the process.
