2023 Sky Zero Footprint Fund finalist Ocean Bottle is making it TV advertising debut with a new campaign warning about the existential threat that ocean plastic is causing.

The reusable water bottle brand impressed the fund’s judges last year with its tangible action plan to protect the oceans by funds the collection of 1000 plastic bottles in weight with each bottle sold.

Created by London agency Hatch, the campaign will be spearheaded by a 30-second spot that communicates Ocean Bottle’s message and core mission.

“Ocean Bottle was created to give people an easy way to contribute, have an impact, and make a difference when it comes to protecting our ocean,” Ocean Bottle CEO and co-founder, Will Pearson said.

“We’re so proud to be one of Sky Zero’s Footprint Fund finalists to spread this message further and empower more individuals to drive positive change. With Sky Zero’s backing, we’ve been able to create a truly impactful campaign that we hope will get even more people hydrated while helping the ocean at the same time.”

The clip will run across the media giant’s linear and video-on-demand platforms, with the campaign’s initial activity phase set to run through to 11 July.
