It comes after two thousand businesses, 35,000 charities and seven million people took part in last year’s iteration of the initiative.

“Thanks to Ocean Outdoor and M&C Saatchi, more people know that whether you have a little time or a lot, whether you want to replant woodlands or restock food banks, whether you want to volunteer in-person or online, you can lend a hand and make a difference,” said Together Coalition chief executive Jon Knight.

Ocean Outdoor chief executive Phil Hall continued: “From mental health and wellbeing, to improving your skills or bringing company values to life, the benefits of volunteering are multiple and proven.”
