Barclays Women’s Super League unveils stunning CGI OOH campaign

The Barclays Women’s Super League and the Barclays Women’s Championship have taken over key British landmarks with an ambitious out-of-home campaign.

Created to mark the start of the 2024 women’s professional football season, the campaign will celebrate the quality and passion on display across the two leagues.

Developed by creative agency Wing in partnership with digital content studio Little Dot, the CGI campaign will promote four key clashes taking place this weekend.

The creative sees Regent Street draped with West Ham and Chelsea flags ahead of the East-West London derby, whilst Radio City Tower in Liverpool is draped in Liverpool’s red and Everton’s blue ahead of the Merseyside derby.

“Women’s Football Weekend is one of the biggest weekends of the year for our sport and is a great opportunity to showcase the talented teams and players we have in our leagues,” Barclays Women’s Super League and Championship CEO Nikki Doucet said.

“The weekend is a window into the elite level of women’s football, and we hope it draws more people in to engage with the sport going forward.”

In celebration of the upcoming Wearside derby, the iconic Roker Pier and Lighthouse has been adorned with a half-and-half Sunderland and Durham scarf, and in Manchester, two high-rise lockers will spring up in the colours of United and City.
