Team GB enlists Little Dot Studios to produce candid content series ahead of Olympics

Digital content studio and media network Little Dot Sport has been enlisted by Team GB to create and distribute an all-new content series titled ‘A Cut Above’.

The media firm’s eight-part original content series will give viewers an exclusive behind-the-scenes look into the preparations of Team GB athletes and their personal stories in the run to this summer’s Paris Olympics.

Little Dot Studios, which already manages Team GB’s YouTube channel and paid media strategy, will showcase a different athlete in each episode, including with participants including Bradly Sinden, Emily Campbell, Emma Uren, Kaleem Barreto, Katie Archibald, Laura Collett, Matt Richards, Morgan Lake and Penny Healey.

“With a little over six months left to go until the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, it’s time for the nation to get to know our athletes,” Team GB head of marketing, Carly Hodgson said.

“Our content strategy is designed to engage our fans and introduce new audiences to our athletes with fun, entertaining content, showcasing the personalities behind the extraordinary sporting performances that Team GB are known for. ‘A Cut Above’ is a brilliant example of this, and we can’t wait for everyone to see it.”

Centred around candid hair styling session performed by multi-award-winning hair stylist Lisa Farrall, each episode will last eight to 12 minutes, ensuring a deep dive into each athlete’s personal journey.
