Tech giant Apple is harnessing the classic tale of Charles Dickens’ 1843 novel ‘A Christmas Carol’ for its 2023 festive ad campaign, imagining a modern-day scrooge getting his comeuppance.
Featuring intricate stop-motion animation interspersed with live-action footage, the London-set ‘Fuzzy Feelings’ depicts a frustrated office-worker embarrassing her overbearing boss in a range of imagined scenarios.

Directed by Lucia Anello, the US firm’s four-minute spot then shifts to a more nuanced view of the protagonist’s boss after he gives her a very thoughtful Christmas gift – with the worker now animating him in a range of happier scenarios.
Created by TBWA/Media Arts Lab, the moving festive film is set to George Harrison ‘It’s a Pity’. The stop-motion animation was handled by Passion Pictures’ Anna Mantzaris.
