Coca-Cola Christmas ad shows how everyone can be Santa Claus

Soft drink giant Coca-Cola is celebrating how the spirit of Father Christmas is in all of us and how simple acts of kindness can help anyone emulate him.

Developed by WPP’s Open X – which operates exclusively on Coca-Cola’s global account, the 110-second spot sees a surreal world in which everyone can become Father Christmas through simple acts of kindness at Christmastime.

The creative heroes Santa Claus’ iconic status as a symbol for goodwill and selflessness, embodying the most important values of the festive period.

The ad continues the brand’s long-standing affiliation with Saint Nick, famously using the character for the first time in the 1920s before catapulting him to worldwide fame as a Christmas branding icon.

Set to launch in the UK on 17 November, the campaign will run globally and will be supported by this year’s instalment of ‘Holidays Are Coming’, Coca-Cola’s long-running festive brand platform.
