Pinterest has appointed former Meta and Google executive, Clément Schvartz, as country manager of Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) growth sales.
Schvartz, who begins his new role at the social media site at the end of this month, will be responsible for leading the company’s sale strategy and execution in its EMEA growth market.
Schvartz will report to Milka Privodanova who is currently head of EMEA sales at Pinterest – which recently introduced a series of new safety features aimed at better protecting teens using its service.
Schwartz’s new appointment follows four years of experience at social media giant Meta, most recently as managing director of Global Business Group, before he left his post in February 2023.
Prior to that, Schwartz had completed a twelve-year stint at Google, where he held a variety of roles, including director of global customer solutions EMEA.
