Dog Cat & Mouse appoints former IPA president and VCCP founder to board

Independent creative agency Dog Cat & Mouse has named former IPA president and VCCP founder Ian Priest as its new non-executive chairman.

Starting immediately, Priest will be entrusted with boosting the agency’s reputation, overseeing strategic business guidance and development across all clients.

Priest will bring over 30 years’ worth of advertising experience to his new role. He had notably helped found VCCP, one of the UK’s biggest agencies in 2002 before working as IPA president from 2023 to 2015.

Over the course of his career, Priest has produced high-profile work for a wide range of major clients including O2, Guinness, Pot Noodles, Bacardi Martini, Department of Health, the 2012 Olympics and Prudential.

Priest added: “I’ve been looking for a small agency I can help grow, especially one with creative effectiveness at its heart, which Dog Cat & Mouse has in spades.”
