talkSPORT rings in the new season with Amazon Alexa partnership

Sports radio station talkSPORT is celebrating the start of the new Premier League season by collaborating with Amazon Alexa on a playful new ad campaign.

Developed by News UK’s dedicated agency Pulse Creative, the campaign will be spearheaded by a humorous 40-second clip that communicates the joy that fans can feel by staying connected to talkSPORT via Amazon Alexa.




Showcased within the spot are Amazon’s Echo, Echo Show 10 and Echo Show 15, which can be used to listen to live talkSPORT match commentaries as well as to set reminders for upcoming games.

“This campaign is all about bringing the power of two household brands together to showcase the giddy excitement of listening to talkSPORT on Alexa. Naturally for talkSPORT, the ad is irreverent and full of the passion our listeners are feeling for the return of the Premier League,” talkSPORT head of marketing, Will Martin, said.

With media planning and buying handled by Pulse Media and Hello Yellow, the campaign will be squarely targeted at British football fans, going live through to mid-October.
