Wunderman Thompson has hired Chloe Grindle as new creative director at the agency. Previously global creative director at Ogilvy, Grindle led across the high-profile Dove and Hellmann’s accounts.
Reporting to UK executive creative director, Tom Drew, Grindle will be working with global clients, such as Avon and Costa Coffee.
The appointment comes in the wake of Wunderman Thompson being named the global agency of record for the UK’s leading coffee brand, leading to the launch of the debut ‘Made a Little Better’ campaign and a new creative platform earlier this year.
In addition, Grindle will work with the agency with Avon, which has recently refreshed its 135-year-old brand, including a new global brand platform and accompanying integrated campaign.

“I’m delighted that Chloe has joined our irrepressible and ambitious creative team,” said Wunderman Thompson UK chief creative officer Steve Aldridge.
“She’s a talented creative leader with global and brand expertise and that I know will help us raise the bar as we continue to make bigger, bolder ideas across Avon and Costa Coffee.”
Grindle, who also has experience at Droga5, Havas, and Publicis in New York on award-winning campaigns, explained she was drawn to the agency because of the “sheer diversity of the capabilities that Wunderman Thompson has at its fingertips,”
“Having so many world-class capabilities under one roof means that creatively anything is possible, and it’s possible at speed. I’m looking forward to maximising the creative potential of the iconic brands on Wunderman Thompson’s client roster,” she added.
