Popular restaurant chain Nando’s has today (15 March) been unveiled as a new official sponsor of the fictional AFC Richmond football team featured in the Apple TV show Ted Lasso.
The move was announced ahead of today’s global premiere of the show’s third series and follows on from Nando’s sponsorship of the AFC Richmond kit on the FIFA23 video game released in September last year.

To celebrate the partnership, Nando’s will be launching a series of Ted Lasso-themed activations at its Richmond restaurant throughout the rest of the season. Re-branded spice flags, AFC Richmond napkins and a new sign complete the show’s takeover of the venue.
More exclusive tie-in activity will be announced across Nando’s social media channels over the coming weeks, with Ted Lasso himself commenting that he is “Peri peri excited about this one”.
