Ernest Jones celebrates ‘real love stories’ with Valentine’s Day creative

Jewellery retailer Ernest Jones is celebrating ‘real love stories’ this Valentine’s Day with the launch of a new integrated campaign planned by creative agency Bountiful Cow.

‘Gifts For Every Love Story’ will be centred around engagement rings and diamond jewellery, and will aim to target happy couples over the Valentine’s Day period.

Assets will be prominently displayed across high-impact retail locations using out-of-home, digital out-of-home, print and online.

“Valentine’s Day is one of the biggest moments of the year for marriage proposals and we love helping couples to find their perfect engagement ring,” Signet UK head of brand and marketing, Gillian Connor said.

“We offer engagement ring appointments with our diamond experts for a more personalised, special experience. This Valentine’s, we’re excited to celebrate love stories by asking customers to share their special moments with us.”

The creative was developed in-house by the retailer in partnership with design agency Chilli Worldwide and will feature a call to action encouraging customer to share their own love stories via the Ernest Jones website to win a gift card.

Bountiful Cow CEO, Adam Foley added: “Love is in the air, and we want to give couples the nudge to take their story to the next level. More and more couples buy rings together these days and using digital OOH screens in shopping malls is a sure way to reach them when they’re spending time together surrounded by valentine’s messages.”
