Budweiser to transform billboard into music stage ahead of The Brits this weekend

Budweiser is turning one of its billboards in Shoreditch into a stage to champion female artists ahead of The Brits this weekend.

Hosted from 6pm tomorrow (10 February), a selection of up-and-coming artists will be performing a free concert for music lovers, as the beer brand looks to give a platform to musicians ‘who could one day be gracing The Brits stage themselves’.

Members of the public will also be able to enjoy a free Budweiser during the performances, which will be live streamed via projectors across London, culminating in a broadcast on screens outside and inside the O2 Arena on the night of the Brits. The broadcasts will also include a QR code that links to a playlist full of the musicians’ songs.

“Budweiser has always celebrated greatness, and with The Brits round the corner, what better time to showcase up-and-coming musicians,” Budweiser senior brand manager, Jack Morris, said. “We wanted to build a stage where everyone and anyone is welcome and are proud to work with this fantastic selection of musicians to support them on their career journey. Get yourself down to the event, grab a Bud and enjoy the talents our next generation of music icons have to offer.”

The event was dreamt up by creative agency FCB New York.
