Sports tech brand Sportable has named Pangolin as its retained UK PR agency at the outcome of a competitive pitch process carried out in November 2022.

Pangolin will begin work on Sportable’s account this month, with the upcoming Six Nations rugby championship providing the ideal opportunity for high-value activity as the tournament will be using a smart ball designed by the firm to track game data and insights.

“We’re chuffed to be working with Sportable and we look forward to helping them drive their brand storytelling forward,” Pangolin PR director and co-founder, Will Cookson said.

“Sportable’s technology is truly ground-breaking and the opportunities for the sport industry as a whole – whether you’re a business or a fan – is really exciting.”

Sportable will now join Pangolin’s rapidly-expanding clients list which already includes Pepsi, Rockstar Energy, Under Armour, The Glenlivet and Chivas.

Sportable head of marketing and communications, Warren Butler added: “Pangolin impressed us with their knowledge of the global sports media landscape – both from a consumer and corporate perspective. We think their combination of creativity and strategic thinking makes them the perfect partners to help us land brand PR in the UK.”
