Gala Bingo launches farcical ident series in celebration of ‘The Chase’ sponsorship

Online gambling firm Gala Bingo has today (19 January) launched more than 60 comical idents in celebration of its sponsorship of flagship ITV game show ‘The Chase’.

Featuring the same cast as its previous campaign (The Gala Gang), Gala Bingo’s new ident series will be centred around a fictitious game show called ‘The Answer is Bingo’.

Facing up to The Gala Gang is none other than The Chase stars The Beast (Mark Labbett), The Dark Destroyer (Shaun Wallace) and The Governess (Anne Hegarty).

What seems at first to be a straightforward imitation of a game show descends into farce however, as the contestants realise that the answer to every single question asked is in fact, ‘BINGO!’

“Bingo”, Neverland executive creative director, Noel Hamilton said.
