Apple has unveiled its latest ad campaign ‘R.I.P. Leon’ in a bid to promote the tech giant’s iPhone 14 and its ability to unsend and edit messages thanks to iOS 16.
The 40-second spot begins with a shot of a pet lizard that appears to have passed away. Coming to the conclusion that it is in fact dead, the person looking after the animal messages the owner to tell them the news.
“I messed up … Leon is dead,” the man writes.
Once he has sent the message, the lizard miraculously comes back to life. Thanks to Apple’s new software iOS 16, the man is able to quickly unsend the message and return to looking after the pet.
The film closes with the tagline: “Relax, it’s iPhone.”
