Peloton partners with Stink Studios to celebrate its members’ achievements across 2022

Fitness equipment specialist Peloton has partnered with Stink Studios for the third year running to launch a personalised year-in-review campaign for its members.

‘The Cooldown’ breaks down 12 months-worth of ‘raw’ workout data and transforms it into a personalised film for each Peloton member to celebrate their achievements over the year.

Peloton will share the films with its nearly seven million worldwide members via its app from 15 December, having used Stink Studios’ automation platform RITA to render millions of unique, multi-language videos in less than a day.

“It’s my favourite day of the Peloton year. We get so much positive feedback from the community as soon as The Cooldown launches each year and it has quickly become an integral part of our annual marketing plan,” Peloton vice-president of consumer marketing, Oli Snoddy said.

“It’s great to partner with Stink Studios again to bring this moment to life. They understand the importance of combining creativity and technology, and their creative automation platform means we can reward all of our members with a totally unique film. Something as unique as their wonderful achievements.”

Each video brings together information concerning a member’s best workouts, longest daily streak, the music they listened to, and the minutes they spent exercising in order to maximise shareability potential across social media platforms.

Stink Studios executive creative director, Cam Temple added: “The Cooldown has only been running for a few years and it’s already highly anticipated by the passionate Peloton community.

“We always aim to surpass people’s expectations with something that will do justice to the hard work they have been putting in year-round, and we’ve really pushed it for 2022. Personalisation at this scale has to work flawlessly, and with millions of people receiving personalised films, I can’t wait to see their reactions on social media.”
