Deliveroo has today (7 November) entered into a new advertising partnership with Sky’s smart TV range, Sky Glass as part of the ongoing rollout of its new advertising platform, Deliveroo Media and E-commerce.
The food delivery firm’s customers will now see Sky Glass promoted across its app and website, becoming the first non-grocery partner to advertise on the order tracking page.
Deliveroo’s partnership with the media giant will run for eight weeks, with a second phase set to be unveiled in conjunction with the start of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar later this month.
“Deliveroo Media and Ecommerce provides brands with an opportunity to connect with millions of engaged customers at, or after the point of purchase,” Deliveroo director of media and e-commerce, Minco De Boer said.

“We’re delighted to partner with Sky Glass as we look to grow our advertising platform and build on this new revenue stream.”
Deliveroo will be hoping that this latest partnership will help bolster its newly-launched advertising platform, which offers brands bespoke advertising across its app, website and social media, alongside email and push notification campaigns.
