The League appoints former Google and RCS Mediagroup director to key leadership role

Former Google and RCS Mediagroup director Davide Galante has been named as the international business development director of The League, a Europe-wide network of specialist family-focused marketing agencies.

Galante is set to head The League’s portfolio of agencies, which currently includes UK agency Kids Industries, French firm Com des Enfants, KB&B from Germany, Kulta from Italy and The Modern Kids & Family from Spain.

Before setting up his own company World Funk picture, which boasts an extensive client list including UEFA, DHL and Volkswagen, Galante worked as a director at Italian international multimedia publishing group RCS Mediagroup. Galante also brings seven year’s experince working at US tech firm Google to his new role.

“We’re hugely excited to have Davide join The League! His background in the family space is impressive as is his data driven approach to marketing and insight,” Kids Industries CEO and co-founder, Gary Pope said.

“With an extensive network of clients and broad experience in pan-European business development, he is the ideal person to develop and expand our network of hyper specialist agencies further.”

Commenting on his new position, Galante added: ““I’m delighted to be working with such a fantastic and focused group of agencies in The League! I’ll be leveraging my extensive family market experience as I look to build the brand.

“There’s a lot of brand work out there and our portfolio is already incredibly strong – we’re currently working with the likes of McDonalds, Lego Group, Amazon Kids+, Sony Music and so many others, so we’re in a great position to go out there and expand into new markets.”
