Budweiser celebrates Lionesses’s historic victory with celebratory can rebrand

Iconic US beer brand Budweiser has released a celebratory limited edition can to commemorate the Lionesses’ historic victory over Germany in the Euro 2022 final.

Following on from the Missouri-based firm’s giveaway of up to 150,000 bottles of beer last week, Budweiser will allow fans to relive the emphatic highs of last month with the launch of a specially-branded 440m can in tribute to the England women’s team.

The beer’s iconic can design has been reimagined to include the England football team’s crest – with the word ‘Home’ replacing the Budweiser brand name across the front of the can to well and truly announce that football has indeed ‘come home’.

“We couldn’t be prouder to be a long-term partner of the England team, and it’s incredible to see the inspiration they have given to women and girls across the nation,” Budweiser senior brand manager, Jack Morris said.

“We’re continuing the celebrations with our limited edition ‘Home’ can, inviting fans to savour the taste of victory.”
