Team ITG opens 30,000 sq. ft marketing studio in Birmingham

Marketing tech firm Team ITG has opened the largest, purpose-built content creation studio outside of London, located in Birmingham.

The 30,000 sq. ft ‘ITG Capture’ studio will allow brands to create all of their multichannel content in the same location, with the new development containing photography, video and TV production facilities.

Promoted under the ‘Every channel, one take’ platform, ITG Capture opened on 19 May and contains two extended reality studios, for use across TV, video and livestream operations.

Ecommerce brands will be able make use of the state-of-the-art automated photography machines, which can produce thousands of images alongside video which will be immediately available for publication.

More traditional studio facilities are also available, with a seven-metre tall ‘infinity cove studio’, a large open set-build area, and fully equipped development and lifestyle kitchens.

Further amenities at the site include a professional gantry, six-person sound recording booth, on-site prop shop, large hospitality bar, green rooms and multiple dressing rooms.

Giving brands a royalty-free production environment has already proved a big hit for the firm, with several larges businesses already making use of the space, including DFS, Avon and the Co-Op. Team ITG’s client list also includes large multinationals such as GSK, Jaguar Land Rover, Heineken and Puma, alongside UK retailer Currys.

The inauguration of the studio marks a significant step for Team ITG, which was recently purchased by British private equity firm Bridgepoint with a view to extensive trans-Atlantic expansion.

“An explosion of channels has accelerated the need for marketing campaigns to be made at an ever-greater pace,” Team ITG CEO, Simon Ward said.

“Our clients have been asking us for a facility that can handle the increasing demand for rich content as customers consume a broader variety of media, and we’re hugely excited to deliver it.”

He added: “From state-of-the-art XR tech and automated photography stations to sound recording studios and live streaming facilities, ITGCapture has everything you need.

“It’s another big step forward in the growth of not just Team ITG, but the creative industry as a whole.”
