Disney unveils new homeware brand

Disney has unveiled its first interiors and home brand titled Disney Home.

The new range will include decorations, wallpaper, bedding and more featuring hallmark characters from Marvel, Star Wars and other Disney classics.

The Disney Home brand is set to launch on April 25 and will be available in stores such as Selfridges, Wayfair and B&M.

“From Minnie Mouse’s polka dots to the bold lines of The Millennium Falcon. Disney Home products have been thoughtfully designed to put the fun into functionality,” Disney category vice president, Liz Shortreed said.

The entertainment company has also said that new products will be released frequently, promising that the brand will “consistently evolve to complement every interior style and budget”.

Collectible, bespoke items and one-off collaborative products will be on offer, as will more affordable children’s items. Wallpaper imitating that of Toy Story’s has been priced at £15.99 a roll, while a Mickey Mouse figurine has scaled up to £210.

Shortreed added: “Disney Home offers families, fans and interiors enthusiasts the chance to style a little magic into their homes.”

“We know that Disney storytelling has ignited imaginations for nearly a century, and this new brand brings together home décor inspired by some of our beloved characters from across our brands.”

More chic and on-trend design pieces will also be available to buy.
