M&S Food unveils new lower prices in its Remarksable ranges

M&S Food has announced new lower prices as part of its Remarksable ranges, in a bid to re-affirm its “longstanding commitment” to delivering trusted value.

In the last three years, M&S Food has invested £100 million in its value position, while ensuring the quality and sourcing standards of its brand are up to its customer standards.

The retailer has now focused on lowering the price of everyday grocery products including its RSPCA Assured Semi-Skimmed Milk, Vitamin D enriched Bread, Select Farms 100% British Beef Mince, air-dried Italian spaghetti and responsibly sourced bananas.

“Through its Select Farm partnerships, M&S guarantees its fresh food comes from farmers it knows and trusts to meet its high animal welfare and environmental protection standards,” M&S said.

“A great example of this is M&S’ longstanding Milk Pledge, which since 1999, has assured dairy farmers with a fair and sustainable price, giving them the security to invest in the leading animal welfare standards behind our RSPCA assured milk.”

The brand is also launching “Bigger Pack Better Value” choices for customers, a new range of “Family Dine In” meal offers and more Fresh Market and Baker’s Specials.

Children will also be able to eat for free in M&S cafés when £5 is spent in a single transaction.

M&S chief operating officer, Stuart Machin said: “As we transform M&S Food, we have invested significantly over the last three years in making our ranges even better value, whilst protecting the things our customers love most – our market leading sourcing standards and our delicious, innovative products.”

“We want M&S to be more relevant, more often and that’s why now is the right time to go further, by investing in the value of everyday items families buy week-in week-out, without compromising the quality our customers want and expect from us.”
