M&S sponsors ITV’s ‘Concert for Ukraine’

ITV, STV and Livewire Pictures have partnered up with Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) and Global to stage a two-hour fundraiser concert to raise money for the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine.

The broadcasters announced that Marks and Spencer will sponsor the concert which will feature a line-up of presenters and global artists intending to send a message of hope and support.

All advertising and sponsorship revenue gathered during the broadcast, which is expected to be worth upwards of £3 million, will be donated by ITV to the DEC appeal.

Short films that recognise relief efforts made in and around Ukraine will also be displayed, with viewers being able to donate to the humanitarian appeal throughout the evening.

“Music is a very powerful tool when it comes to showing support and solidarity,” ITV head of entertainment commissioning Katie Rawcliffe said.

“At ITV we are proud and privileged to be working with Livewire Pictures, Global, M&S and the DEC on such an important and necessary fundraising event.”
