Studio.co.uk wins In for a Penny sponsorship rights for second year running

ITV has announced that online value retailer Studio.co.uk will be the lead sponsor of its Saturday night gameshow In for a Penny for a second year running.

The show, hosted by Stephen Mulhern, will return to screens this Saturday, (9 April) following three successful series.

This year’s series will run until 4 June, with the online retailer celebrating the partnership by offering one lucky entrant £1,000 in credit to be used on its site.

“Last year’s partnership with ITV’s of In For A Penny was a great success for Studio.co.uk and we are thrilled to be the lead sponsor again for 2022,” Studio.co.uk brand and digital marketing director, Chris Chalmer said

“Being a family retailer with a passion for family-focussed value products, this sponsorship is a great opportunity to increase consumer engagement with our brand.”

ITV development director, Jason Spencer added: “Saturday night entertainment is a mainstay of family life, and In for A Penny brings the best elements of that together.

The news marks a significant change in fortunes for the Accrington-based retailer, which only recently declared insolvency before being bought for close to £27 million by Mike Ashley’s Frasers Group.
