Hawke Media, an American marketing consultancy firm is expanding into the European market with the acquisition of Manchester-based digital marketing agency Social Nucleus.
The merger will offer the British firm significant opportunities for expansion beyond its current Manchester office and additional sites in Bournemouth and Miami.
The social media specialist boasts a healthy portfolio of over 60 clients, working with the likes of Shopify, Instagram, Google and Facebook, largely focused on the e-commerce sector.
However, the Santa Monica-based digital marketing consultancy will be taking over a healthy business, with Social Nucleus currently turning over £4.2 million per month.
Founded by CEO Erik Huberman in 2014, Hawke Media has been recognised by Inc. Magazine as the US’ “fastest-growing marketing consultancy”.
The mutually beneficial deal will allow Social Nucleus to grow its US-based operations, and in turn Hawke Media will be gaining a foothold in the British and European markets allowing it to expand from its current operations across North America.
