Subway opens VIP restaurant aboard luxury yacht

Subway is opening a pop-up restaurant aboard a yacht at West India Quay in Central London, where guest will be offered a “VIP experience”.  

The event is being launched to promote Subway’s “Meal Deal Millionaire” prize draw which will see a Subway Rewards member win one million Subway rewards points, allowing them to purchase up to 1,000 footlong sandwiches.  

The lunchtime restaurant will be open to guests over two days starting 10 March, from midday to 3.30pm.  

Guests will be able to book a table for free in one-hour slots. Upon arrival they will be greeted by the captain and offered a glass of champagne and hot towels.  

Customers will be able to order from a menu containing a selection of eight subs, paired with a choice of crisps or cookies and a drink. Diners will benefit from table service and meals will be presented under a silver cloche.

The fast-food chain revealed a DJ will be playing a selection of “Ibiza chill out tunes” and guests will be offered complimentary sunglasses and a spritz from a bottle of millionaire bronzing mist.
