Gung Ho comms secures New Balance account, announces new senior hires

Sport, fashion and lifestyle comms agency Gung Ho has added US brand New Balance to its expanding client roster and has announced a pair of senior hires, targeting greater growth in the sector.

Having handled New Balance’s PR and influencer activity in the lifestyle sector for over a decade, Gung Ho will now assist in managing the brand’s football press office, with key athlete and club activity planned over the busy winter period.

“Gung Ho is the ideal agency to continue helping us expand our presence in Europe in the world of football,” New Balance global PR senior manager, Mary Lawton said.

Bolstering its senior team, the London-based firm has recruited Paula Kowalska as an account director to lead on New Balance football alongside Canterbury and Speedo; whilst Hamish Murdoch joins to provide support as senior account manager.
