WPP has appointed LJ Louis to the newly created role of global chief talent and inclusion officer as part of its commitment to promoting racial equity.
Joining from WeWork, Louis will be responsible for overseeing global initiatives to adopt a workplace environment grounded in equity, inclusion, development and growth in line with the company’s racial equity commitments announced in June 2020.
Prior to her time at WeWork, Louis was vice president and head of the global leadership talent team at L Brands.
At WPP, she will also grow and enhance the big six agency’s DEI talent management, development and acquisition strategies across the organisation.
Branded as one of the 50 ‘Impactful DE&I Leaders Driving Change’ by Comparably, the new talent and inclusion officer brings a ‘wealth’ of experience to WPP, having led inclusion and talent acquisition efforts across the industry.
