British specialist bike retailer Evans Cycles has been announced as the 2022 Tour de France’s official UK retailer, offering licensed kit and merchandise across 82 stores nationwide and via their website.
Due to begin on 1 July, this year’s Grand Départ will take place in Copenhagen for the first time, overall the race will run across four countries spanning 21 stages. Passing through nine new towns, the tour will end as usual with the iconic final stage at the Champs-Élysées.
Cycling fans will be able to find licensed goods from their favourite brands at the retailer’s stores, including antini (jerseys), Oakley (sunglasses), Elite (water bottles), Selle Italia (saddles), KASK (helmets), Icon (fitness bikes) and Velox. They will also have to an in-store official 2022 Tour fans collection containing classic shirts and other accessories.
The cycling-focused retailer will also stock Tour de France beginner guides to better acquaint the public with cycling flagship event, now in its 119th year.
