Creative agency Droga5 London has appointed Matt Waksman as its new head of strategy. Joining from Ogilvy UK, he will take up his new role from October.
He will succeed Tamara Conyngham, who leaves the agency after a three year stint to “pursue new opportunities”. She acceded to her current role in June last year, and had previously worked as a strategy director since July 2022.
“Anyone who has had the pleasure of working with Matt knows he is generational talent,” said Will Hodge, chief strategy officer at Droga5 London.
“We are thrilled he’s joining Droga5 and can’t wait to welcome him into the leadership team as we continue to write this exciting next chapter. His unique combination of strategic rigour, creative flair and progressive leadership will make us go even faster.”
