Mad//Fest London is back for 2025.
First staged in 2018, Mad//Fest has become one of the most important events in the industry’s calendar.
This year’s festival takes place from 1 to 3 July at the Truman Brewery Estate in London.
With only a week to go, we take a look at some of this year’s highlights.
BrandSnapShot consultation
BrandsnapShot is giving out free insights into brands’ strengths and weaknesses, covering 1100 categories in over 44 markets.
But perhaps more excitingly, attendees can also find Mr Whippy ice cream at the stall from 9am.
Also on offer are limited edition streetwear giveaways and cocktails and crafts.
Cocoa, Chaos and a Cause: Tony’s Chocolonely’s recipe for a non-boring brand
One speech that caught our attention here at Marketing Beat is from chocolatier Tony’s Chocolonely.
The discussion from Saidra E Furlow explores the brand’s marketing strategy and how they stand out by staying true to the brand’s mission of ending exploitation in the cocoa industry.

Collab-o-rama: Duolingo’s unexpected partnerships for global success
Anyone familiar with TikTok should be familiar with Duolingo, which is why it’s next on our list of things you should see at Mad//Fest London 2025.
The brand’s director of marketing, LATAM and EMEA, Rebeca Ricoy explores how the firm’s collaborations extend the brand’s story.
Don’t Be Defined: Creative opportunities between sports, fashion & music
Next up on our list is a speech from none other than German fashion house Hugo Boss.
The designer’s chief marketing officer, Nadia Kokni, and No Soldiers Left Behind’s culture strategy director, Dan De Frietas, explore how companies can build “iconic” Gen Z brands.
Rory Sutherland
The final highlight we wish to point out is a series of offerings from Ogilvy’s vice chairman Rory Sutherland.
On Day 1, Sutherland will be finding out what challenger brands can learn from brand giants like Meta and Uber with Herdify’s CEO, Tom Ridges, and director of Sales and Digital Training at MAD//Masters, Sam Benson.
He will join Octopus Energy’s Greg Jackson to explore “innovation, disruption, and possibly his electricity bill” on Day 2.
And on Day 3, Sutherland will sit down with British comedian Jimmy Carr.
