British beverage company Schweppes has named Emily in Paris star Lucien Laviscount as the new face of the brand.

Founded in 1793, Schweppes has collaborated with Laviscount to bring “modernity and attitude”.

“Schweppes has always been my go-to mixer for those long, sun-drenched days, that crisp fizz just adds a touch of elegance to any moment,” he said.

“I’ve been loving the new purple Tropical Soda, it tastes and looks amazing. It’s going to be the drink of the summer.”

To celebrate the partnership, the brand has unveiled two short films starring the British actor as a host.  Launched yesterday (15 May), the first film follows the star as he hosts a summer soiree.
