Rail provider Greater Anglia has launched a new campaign to inspire people to visit London by train.
The marketing drive, devised by creative agency Atomic London, targets individuals, couples and families living in East Anglia.
The 30-second spot, directed by Missing Link Film’s Ivan Bird, follows a young couple who visit a disappointing garage sale and then decide to visit Camden Market.
“This latest campaign continues our mission of unleashing Greater Anglia’s superpower.” said Louise Rudaizky, managing director at Atomic London.
“By using clever visual metaphors and playful storytelling, we wanted to remind people across East Anglia just how close the capital really is. We’re really proud of the craft that’s gone into every element, from the humorous TV ad to the quirky audio spots.”

As part of the campaign, Greater Anglia has also released a series of radio spots, voiced by comics Dustin Demri-Burns and Doon Mackichan.
The ads will run across TV, cinema, digital audio, online video and out-of-home and radio activity.
Media planning and buying were handled by agency Bicycle London.
“Our new campaign aims to make it clear just how easy, convenient and affordable it is to reach London with Greater Anglia. Whether it’s shopping, culture or a spur-of-the-moment trip, we’re bringing London closer for everyone across our network,” said David Metherell, head of commercial development at Greater Anglia.
