Saatchi & Saatchi has added new talent to its creative team by recruiting Peniel Gebreselassie, Eleanor Weitzer and Jacob Newton.
Gebreselassie and Wietzer join from creative agency McCann London, where they worked on campaigns such as Activision Blizzard’s ‘Overwatch 2’ and Xbox’s ‘The Cheeky Controller’.
Prior to starting her career in advertising, Ethiopian-born Gebreselassie worked as a fashion designer.

Newton will join the agency as a senior creative from DDB New Zealand. He won a Gold Cannes PR Lion for his work on the New Zealand AIDS Foundation’s ‘Sperm Positive: The World’s First HIV Positive Sperm Bank’ campaign.
Franki Goodwin, CCO at Saatchi & Saatchi said: “We couldn’t be happier to have Peniel Gebreselassie, Eleanor Weitzer and Jacob Newton join the team. Gebreselassie and Weitzer bring a creative energy and vision that’s impossible to ignore, and Newton is a creative superstar.”
“Collectively, they bring unique thinking, perspectives and the kind of energy that pushes boundaries. We’re committed to recruiting the brightest and best creatives – and I can’t wait to see the impact they’ll make on the agency and our partners,” she added.
