US golfing equipment firm Callaway has captured the frustration that golfers feel by being stuck indoors during the winter months in a new campaign film.
Developed in partnership with creative agency Homeground in collaboration with MSQ Sport & Entertainment, the tongue-in-cheek 70-second clip is narrated by retired tennis star and keen golfer, Sir Andy Murray.
Illustrating the impatient wait golfers feel before the return of spring, the film stars a range of personalities from the world of golf including UK influencers Four Brothers, former professional golfer Inci Mehmet, golf coach and content creator Trey Niven, disabled golfer George Blackshaw and Olympic gold medallist golfer Xander Schauffele.

“With ‘Get sprung’, we wanted to acknowledge golfers’ frustrations at bad weather, muddy courses and waterlogged greens, and the anticipation that builds as the days grow longer and you finally have the golf season in front of you,” said Chris Gregg, Callaway Golf Europe marketing director.
“This is a tribute to golfers across Europe who have been eagerly awaiting the clocks going forward, meaning the return of post-work 9 holes, short-sleeved rounds, and those crisp 7am tee-times with friends.”
The work is set to be pushed-out via Callaway’s European social media and digital channels, supported by follow-up content including behind-the-scenes footage and an Instagram competition.
