The UK’s biggest LGBTQI+ festival, Brighton Pride, has named Spekk as its global digital agency of record, following a three-way competitive pitch.

The agency will work with the festival to boost attendance to ‘Pride on the Park’, through a more “strategic approach” to paid social.

Brighton Pride founder Paul Kemp, said: “Spekk have an impressive track record of driving significant growth for festivals, not just in the UK but also for major international destination events, which made them really appealing to us.”

“From our very first meeting, it was clear that they offer far more than the average agency, bringing outstanding strategic depth and creative thinking to the table,” he added.

Spekk’s new strategy will target veteran pride-goers and first-time attendees. It will also aim its marketing efforts at a UK and European audience.

The event will be headlined by US singer Mariah Carey.
