Financial firm Starling Bank has parted company with London-based creative agency Wonderhood Studios after a five-year working relationship.

Founded just over a decade ago, the bank appointed Wonderhood Studios on a project basis following a competitive pitch process in September 2019.

The move comes as Starling Bank has initiated a media strategy review following the appointment of new chief marketing officer Michele Rousseau, at the end of last year.

“We’re incredibly proud of the work we’ve done with Starling over the last five years, helping build a brand that truly connected with its audience,” said Alex Best, Wonderhood Studios founder and CEO.

“Our campaigns have consistently delivered outstanding results; boosting brand awareness by 134%, increasing consideration among the target audience by 330%, and growing market share by 380%. It’s been a fantastic partnership, and we wish them well in their next chapter.”

Having also parted company with media agency Electric Glue last month after a four-year relationship, the bank will now be searching for a fresh agency line-up.
