Paralympian Dame Sarah Storey, TV presenter Angelica Bell and Chelsea player Niamh Charles have joined forces to bring electric vehicles to life in Skoda’s latest promotional campaign and content series.

Crafted in collaboration with customer engagement agency Havas helia, the auto manufacturer’s new series will feature Skoda EV drivers, retailers, journalists and brand ambassadors.

The series will aim to dispel common misconceptions while explaining the everyday reality of electric driving through 26 “easily digestible” pieces of content, themed around the alphabet, across an interactive website, social media, CRM, and digital platforms.

“Who better than our wonderful drivers, retailers and ambassadors to tell you all about the joy of driving our EV’s. Their personal experiences tell it how it is, without all the usual jargon and complexity.” Skoda UK marketing director, Kirsten Stagg said.

The campaign comes ahead of the launch of the new all-electric Skoda Elroq, the creative is looking to expand the appeal of EVs by providing an authentic, human and engaging approach to learning about the technology.

Havas helia creative director, Jonathon Owens added: “From ‘Brilliant Batteries’ to ‘Fab Fuel Savings’, this incredible alphabet will answer all your EV questions and hopefully teach you some things you never even considered. And yes, we did cheat with X.”
