AudioXi already operates in Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Norway, Ireland, Poland, Portugal and Slovakia.
Simon Kilby (above), MD of Bauer Media Advertising, said: “Launching AudioXi in the UK has been our long-term strategic plan, giving us increased agility and control to shape our next steps in the digital audio landscape while strengthening our offering across Europe.”
“We’re genuinely thrilled to integrate our broadcast and digital audio solutions and the response from advertisers has already been incredibly positive. As Bauer Media celebrates its 150th birthday this year, the business continues to evolve, building on its trusted foundations with ambitious investment in the future,” he added.
The move comes after the media group announced in February that it had agreed to sell its share of Octave to News UK.
