Behavioural planning media agency Total Media Group has rebranded to Mediaplus UK.

This comes after the agency was acquired by Mediaplus, independent media agency network Serviceplan Group’s media arm, in May 2024.

According to the agency, its rebrand reflects “an ambitious new vision” to combine Total Media Group’s behavioural knowledge with Mediaplus’ global expertise.

Tom Laranjo, group chief executive of Mediaplus UK, said: “We are thrilled to announce the rebrand to Mediaplus UK, which represents the culmination of our long-standing partnership with Mediaplus.”

“This step not only reflects our growth but also aligns us with Mediaplus’ global vision, giving our clients access to an unparalleled breadth of expertise and innovation. Mediaplus UK will continue to focus on delivering behavioural insights while leveraging the resources of Europe’s largest independent media agency group,” he added.

The former chief executive of Total Media Group, Celine Saturnino was named chief executive of MediaPlus UK.

She said: “After more than 40 years of independence, Total Media’s evolution into Mediaplus UK represents a natural next step in our growth.”

Mediaplus UK has said it will use a ‘House of Communication’ model, integrating creative, content, media, data, consulting and technology services under one roof. It highlighted that the rebrand was a “step towards” introducing the model in the UK.

Florian Haller, chief executive of Serviceplan Group, sad the integration “establishes a strong foundation for introducing the full House of Communication in the UK, uniting our expertise in media, creative, and digital experience”.

“The UK is a key market for us, and this rebrand is a significant milestone in our expansion. It establishes a strong foundation for introducing the full House of Communication in the UK, uniting our expertise in media, creative, and digital experience. This step reflects our long-term commitment to building an integrated, future-ready agency structure in this strategic market,” he added.
