Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO’s managing director Carmen Vasile has left the agency after 27 years with the BBDO network.
Vasile joined Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO in 2007, having started her career at Graffiti BBDO in Romania. During her time at the agency, she also held the position of global account lead for Mars Petcare.
According to the agency, her responsibilities will be shared between Xavier Rees (group chief executive), Jo Arden (group chief executive officer) and Jemima Monies (group chief growth officer).

Rees said: “Carmen has been a cornerstone of our network, leading with heart, tenacity and a deep commitment to our clients. Her dedication and sheer force of nature have resulted in some of the agency’s best work. While we are sad to see her leave, we are immensely grateful for everything she has contributed.”
Arden was appointed earlier this month and will start her position in March. Monies was also appointed earlier this month but has started her new position.
Abbott Mead Vickers has no current plans to replace the role.
