Chris Norman MBE, CEO & co-founder of GOOD Agency said: “We are so excited to be helping Addenbrooke’s Charitable Trust develop two new hospitals, one that will lead the world in cancer research, the other will be the first hospital in the world to integrate children’s mental and physical health. You can’t underestimate how important these two centres of excellence will be in changing the lives of so many people, locally, nationally and across the world.”
The hospitals are set to open in 2029.
Shelly Thake, CEO of Addenbrooke’s Charitable Trust, said: “It’s difficult to put into words the impact these two new hospitals will have. One will help diagnose cancers earlier, and target treatment far more accurately thanks to personalised medicine approaches, the other will be the first hospital in the world to fully integrate children’s mental and physical health.
She added: “Both hospitals will have research embedded in their DNA, while delivering the very best clinical care. This life changing medical advancement is only going to be possible with philanthropic support and we are excited to work with the GOOD Agency, to make these new hospitals a reality, and to change and save countless lives.”
