Health and nutrition app Zoe has selected marketing agency The Specialist Works as its first-ever retained UK media agency following a competitive pitch process.

Appointed to help the app develop its debut TV campaign, the agency reportedly faced off against two other firms to secure the rapidly- growing business.

The Specialist Works has been brought in on a retained basis, and beginning with the TV campaign will help the brand scale up its UK operations and grow brand awareness.

“We were impressed by The Specialist Works’ deep understanding of our mission and their track record of delivering impactful media strategies for brands like ours,” said Zoe global head of communications Federica Amati.

Targeting women over the age of 40, the ad was worked on by digital brand and marketing agency LaGuarda Consultancy and features TV personality Davina McCall.
