*Healthcare marketing and communications practice Publicis Health has named Annabelle Sandeman as chief growth officer for the UK.

Her appointment is effective immediately.

Previously, Sandeman worked as global head of commercial strategy at Inizio (formerly Huntsworth).

She will continue to hold a position on the board of the Healthcare Communications Association, which advocates for the healthcare sector. Its membership includes media agencies and global healthcare, pharmaceutical, and biotech companies

Sandeman said: “It is a great pleasure for me to join Publicis Health, which is home to world-renowned brands. Our clients are looking to transform and in a challenging market, they need the super skillset that Publicis Health offers.

According to Publicis Health, Sandeman will drive growth for the firm incorporating Digitas Health, Langland, and Saatchi & Saatchi Wellness.

She will report directly to Victoria Wright, the chief executive officer.

Wright added: “Having Annabelle join our team is a significant coup. Together with our leadership team, I know that we are going to achieve great things, building on our current success and firmly establishing Publicis Health at the centre of international health communications.”
