Ogilvy UK has named three new senior promotions in its creative department.
Dave Anderson and Ian Brassett have been promoted to creative directors, meanwhile, Dom Flaherty was promoted to senior designer.
During their tenure at the creative agency, Anderson, and Brassett have worked on Dove’s ‘#TurnYourBack’ campaign which won gold for Creative Effectiveness at the Cannes Lions Awards 2024.
Ogilvy UK creative director Dave Anderson said: “When we were told we were becoming creative directors our first response was do we now get free scrambled eggs upstairs.
“We’re chuffed to bits to play such an important role in the world’s greatest network. We’ve been here for seven years and the momentum just keeps building.
“Whether that be creating more award-winning work, bringing new clients on board, finding fresh new teams, or just improving a brand’s communication by 10% at a time.
“It’s an amazing time to be at Ogilvy with an unbelievable team at the helm. To play such a role in the world’s greatest network is a dream come true. Especially for us two Essex wallies.”

Flaherty has been responsible for designing the typography for multiple campaigns including the Mayor of London’s ‘Say Maaate to a Mate’ campaign which won gold at the London International Awards and the Grand Prix at the DMAs.
Ogilvy UK senior designer Dom Flaherty said: “Ogilvy is a real hub for creating great work alongside some of the most talented people in the industry, while also having a lot of fun.
“From global brand campaigns and typography-led posters made of cake icing, to creating linocut campaign artwork for the Mayor of London – the opportunities are endless. It’s an honour to be recognised by this amazing agency. I look forward to what the future holds.”
The promotions follow a series of hires in the agency’s creative department including creative partners Andy and Katie Burrell, Annie Wisbey, and Charlie Lea.
