Sports nutrition brand Myprotein,  part of THG Nutrition, has collaborated with American whiskey company Southern Comfort to launch a new flavoured pre-workout drink.

The new blend is Southern Comfort Whiskey Sour-flavoured and contains 300 milligrams of caffeine, 3.5 grams of Beta-Alanine, and 8 grams of L-Citrulline, but no alcohol.

According to the sports nutrition brand, the partnership will enable both brands to cater to new audiences.

THG Nutrition CEO Neil Mistry said: “Our existing Origin pre-workout is hugely popular amongst our core consumers, so it is great to be able to elevate the range further with this flavour variation collab with Southern Comfort. It is a perfect overlap as both brand’s bring an approachable confidence to their respective industries.”
